Enjoy a family-friendly day trip away from Ultima Gstaad with interactive workshops that everyone will enjoy.
The day starts with an interactive tour of the Maison de Cailler explaining the origins of chocolate and its production, along with the story of Cailler. The tour has animations and workshops and, of course, the chance to taste test some chocolate.
After, we can organise a picnic lunch next to the Maison Cailler in a place called Les Gorges de la Jogne, with stunning views for you to enjoy.
Next, head to the Gruyères Castle, located within the lush mountains. Explore its medieval fortress built in the 13th century, which also hosts lovely boutiques and restaurants. A must-see is Lake Gruyère - arguably the most beautiful reservoir in Switzerland. And cheese lovers will delight with a visit to La Maison du Gruyère.
Gstaad’s Official picnic baskets or backpacks are available for rent, with the possibility of having a special-tailored menu from our Chef.
