Ultima Gstaad Welcomes Guests Year Round

February 2023 – Following another successful winter season, Ultima Gstaad will remain open all year round, being the only five-star superior hotel in the region to do so. This year, its award-winning fine dining restaurant will also remain open during the mid-season, as there is a clear demand for travellers and locals seeking exceptional culinary experiences during the quieter months.

As the only fine dining restaurant in Gstaad that is open whilst the crowds are away, whatever the occasion, anyone can enjoy menus curated by head chef Andrea Franceschi, combining fresh Swiss produce with flavours from around the world. During the mid-season, a la carte breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant or as room service if desired, whilst the light lunch menu is available in the bar area. There is also the guest-favourite, the Middle Eastern-style Shisha bar, where bespoke cocktails can be created. At Ultima, five-star service is always an option. No matter the time of year.

Being a versatile destination, Gstaad offers something for everyone during each season. In spring, the slopes erupt with flowers, guests can swim in the inviting blue lakes in the summer, and experience true tranquillity in Autumn, with the trails quiet and the colours changing from green to golden. The resort also takes on a new personality in the winter, with twinkling lights, a snow-covered promenade and 200 kilometres of prime ski slopes.

Ultima Gstaad also possesses a 1,000-square-metre spa and clinic. With an array of wellness packages on offer, holistic and anti-ageing treatments on request and a team of world-leading professionals who can tailor everything, Ultima Gstaad Spa & Clinic elevates guests' wellness to its optimum. Further amenities include a private cinema, an indoor pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, a Hammam, a sauna, and a fully-equipped gym.
